Duval County School Board recognizes employees and Fidelity Investments during monthly meeting

Jacksonville, FL – During the presentation portion of the monthly meeting of the Duval County School Board, Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals and Board members recognized employees, schools and Fidelity Investments for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions to Duval County Public Schools (DCPS).

• The following employees were recognized for completing the district’s ALL STAR Leadership Training Program for non-certificated staff members: Elton Brown, Severina Camacho, Kate Hurst, Brenda Jones, Dee Dee Lobaugh, Gara Roberts and Jackie Scott;

• The following employees were recognized for assisting the district in receiving the Florida Healthy School District Award through the Coordinated School Health Partnership: Kathleen Bowles, Wayne Atwood, Tonya Hill and Richard Kane;

• Fidelity Investments was recognized for its partnerships with Lake Forest Elementary and Alfred duPont Middle School; and

• The following schools were recognized for making significant improvements in the number of students who received a three or better in all areas of the FCAT:
  • Justina Road Elementary
  • Ruth Upson Elementary
  • Englewood Elementary
  • Julia Landon College Preparatory & Leadership Development School
  • Baldwin Middle School
  • Northwestern Middle School
  • Frank H. Peterson Academies of Technology
  • Englewood High School
  • Fletcher High School
