Media Advisory: Douglas Anderson to Host History Maker
WHAT:
Douglas Anderson School of the Arts is one of several high schools chosen throughout the country to host a special guest, Delores Brisbon, for the "Back to School with The HistoryMakers" program.
HistoryMakers is a national African-American organization that highlights the accomplishments of individuals throughout the United States who have played important roles in African-American led movements and/or organizations across a variety of disciplines.
Mrs. Brisbon is a Jacksonville native who attended Douglas Anderson when it was an elementary school. She has gone on to national prominence as a hospital administrator in some of the largest hospitals throughout the United States.
