Media Advisory: Pre-K Backpack Program at S. P. Livingston Elementary
WHAT:
Students participating in the Pre-K Backpack Program at S. P. Livingston Elementary will get an up-close view of a fire truck and fire rescue workers. The visit will provide these young students with the opportunity to become familiar with fire rescue workers should they ever be in a situation that requires rescue.
The Pre-K Backpack Program is a literacy family involvement opportunity for parents to interact with their students, and the fire rescue visit coincides with October's theme of Community Helpers.
