Media Advisory: 2011 Florida Blue Teacher of the Year Ceremony
WHAT:
Duval County's 2011 Teacher of the Year will be announced during the 20th Annual EDDY Awards, hosted by the Jacksonville Public Education Fund and the Schultz Center for Teaching and Leadership.
Vying for the coveted Teacher of the Year title is Youmone Berrien, activities director and AP honors coordinator at First Coast High; Edward Moore, Language Arts teacher at Northwestern Middle; Andrew Hubbuch, fifth-grade teacher at Justina Road Elementary; Katy Burns, kindergarten teacher at Beauclerc Elementary; and Andrea Miranda, Language Arts teacher at Fort Caroline Middle.
