Media Advisory: Darnell-Cookman Hosts TraumaOne Visit
WHAT:
Students from the Darnell-Cookman seventh-grade medical magnet program will have a unique and up-close visit from the TraumaOne emergency response unit from Shands Jacksonville.
The TraumaOne unit will land the helicopter on the school’s athletic field. Students will then have the opportunity to tour the TraumaOne helicopter and be addressed by the staff of TraumaOne about the details of the educational and career paths they each followed.
