WHAT:
Superintendent Pratt-Dannals will meet with the faculty and staff of Rutledge H. Pearson Elementary School to talk about the upcoming school year and discuss best practices.

Rutledge H. Pearson Elementary School is located in the Northeast quadrant of Jacksonville, Florida. The school was built in 1956 as Sherwood Forest Elementary and dedicated as Rutledge H. Pearson in 1994.

The Florida Department of Education recently named Rutledge H. Pearson Elementary as one of its 2008-2009 Florida Title I Distinguished Schools. Rutledge H. Pearson is the only Duval County school to receive this extraordinary designation, and is one of only 14 schools state-wide.
