Media Advisory - Board Member and Superintendent Participate in Youth Explosion
WHAT:
Duval County Public Schools’ Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals and School Board member Paula D. Wright will participate in the First Baptist Church of Oakland’s Youth Explosion 2011.
Board member Wright will emcee the Parent and Student Empowerment Dinner. The event will provide parents and students with useful information and tools to prepare for the upcoming school year. Dignity-U-Wear will be on site offering a clothing giveaway.
Superintendent Pratt-Dannals will speak at the Back to School Jam where attendees will receive free backpacks and schools supplies, along with free physicals and health exams.
