Carter G. Woodson School of the Medical Arts will be holding its third annual Community Day & Health Fair sponsored by A.B. Coleman Cares. The event will kick-off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the medical arts magnet theme.
More than 20 organizations will be participating in the event, including Shands Medical Mobile that will provide free health screenings. There will be bounce houses, music and live entertainment. A meal ticket will be provided to anyone who completes the mini-expo and visits their student’s classroom.
Every Carter G. Woodson student in attendance will receive a free backpack with supplies.
