High schools will be kicking off October with fundraisers to save their sports programs.
Lighthouse Lacrosse will be hosting its First Annual Keep Lax in Jax Benefit Dinner to help save lacrosse. The event will begin with a Silent Auction that starts at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The cost is $50 per person. Motorcyclists will be hitting the road to save wrestling programs at various high schools. Bikers and riders will roll out from Sandalwood High School then head to Terry Parker High School. Registration starts at 11 a.m. and the fee is $35 for bikers and $15 for riders. T-Shirts and other fundraising items will be for sale. Escort services will be provided by JSO and FHP.
