Duval County Public Schools Secondary Turnaround Cluster Chief Assumes Principal Duties at Raines
Jacksonville, FL - Superintendent Pratt-Dannals recently announced that Tony Bellamy, secondary turnaround cluster chief will assume the responsibilities of Principal at Raines High School through the remainder of the 2011/2012 school year.
“Mr. Bellamy has the leadership skills necessary to continue the path of success at Raines High School,” said Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals. “His familiarity with the students, community, teachers and staff is an asset to Raines during this time of transition.”
Tony Bellamy has been working for Duval County Public Schools since 1997 and has been an educator for more than 23 years. Mr. Bellamy will continue his work as the Turnaround Cluster Chief, maintaining oversight of two secondary turnaround schools.
Duval County Public Schools operates 177 schools and serves approximately 125,000 students.
