Media Advisory - Pine Estates Read It Forward Jax! Parent Workshop
WHAT:
Pine Estates Elementary will hold four Better Reader Workshops for all parents with students in kindergarten, first- and second-grade to support Read It Forward Jax!
Parents will have an opportunity to learn reading strategies and will receive items that can be used at home to reinforce what is being taught in the classroom. For the parents that attend both sessions (during either time) they will receive a backpack with four to six books and activities to try at home.
Childcare will be provided.
WHEN:
Session 1:
Tuesday, February 7, 2012, 5 p.m. or Tuesday, February 14, 2012, 8 a.m.
Session 2:
Tuesday, February 21, 2012, 8 a.m. or Tuesday, February 28, 2012, 5 p.m.
