Media Advisory - Final FAIR Community Parent Meeting Announced
WHAT:
The final Community parent meeting will be held to communicate the new Florida Assessment for Instruction in Reading (FAIR) and K-2 reading standards.
The primary purpose of the meeting is to help parents understand how they can help their student become a better reader and learn more about the new FAIR assessment. Participants will also learn more about updates to the Student Progression Plan and how the FAIR assessment tool will be used to identify students' instructional needs in reading.
District employees will be in attendance to answer questions and facilitate community conversation around FAIR and share resources that will help students improve their reading skills.
