Media Advisory - Highlands Middle and Garden City Elementary Host Community Walk
WHAT:
Highlands Middle and Garden City Elementary will participate in a Community 5K Charity Walk. This walk is sponsored by their faith-based partner, Open Arms Christian Fellowship.
This is the third year the community has come together to support these schools. All money collected goes to the schools. The Highlands Middle band, faculty and staff will participate in the walk. Additionally, Garden City faculty and staff will take part in the event.
School Board members will be in attendance along with other dignitaries from around the city.
