Media Advisory - Andrew Jackson and the University of Florida Host College Night

WHAT:
Andrew Jackson High School will host a unique college night experience with its newest partner, the University of Florida (UF). Andrew Jackson and UF will present a college forum called "Road Map to College" for ninth- and 10th-graders.

Participants will learn about the academic programs offered at Andrew Jackson and UF. They will also receive information about the UF admissions process, programs of study, minority opportunities and scholarship offerings.

Dinner will be served from 5 to 5:45 p.m. with a meet and greet with Jacksonville Jaguars player #77 Uche Nwaneri. The UF Gator Jazz Band will also perform.

The event is open to all Duval County Public Schools' students.
