Media Advisory - Westview K-8 Multicultural Day
WHAT:
Westview K-8 will hold its second annual Multicultural Day. Each grade level will be representing one of the seven continents and each classroom will be representing a different country. Students will be given a passport as they travel around the world looking at classroom projects and exhibits on display. The hallways will be decorated for the fair and the Westview band will also be performing.
The day will begin with an international parade of flags. Students and teachers are encouraged to dress up like the country they represent and carry the flag of their country. Following the parade, students will be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of several countries from all over the world.
