Media Advisory - Twin Lakes Academy Elementary Hosts Cowboy Camp for Achieving Reading Goal

WHAT:
Twin Lakes Academy Elementary will hold Cowboy Camp to reward students for meeting their reading goal during the school year. Students were challenged to read 30 books every nine weeks, which is the equivalent of 1 million words. As a result of meeting the principal's challenge, students will participate in Cowboy Camp.

Principal Robertson, along with the top reader from each grade level, will compete in a pie eating contest. There will also be country line dancing, a petting zoo, sack races, a seed spitting contest, story tellers and much more to celebrate meeting the reading goal.
