On September 16, students at
Enterprise Learning Academy had a special visit from District 13 State Representative Jennifer Carroll.
Representative Carroll, who was invited to the school by SAC Chair Zabrina Hopkins, joined Dr. Amy Lingren, Duval County Public Schools Chief Officer for K-8 Education, and her Executive Director, Melody Davis.
Principal Sheridan Brown gave her visitors a tour of the school, and fifth-grade teachers Zach Strom, Debbie Reams and Jannie Wilson hosted Representative Carroll in their classrooms.
During her hour-long visit, more than 60 students asked Representative Carroll questions about democracy, politics and career paths.
