Susan Legutko, Duval County Public Schools' Finance Director for Academic Services, won the third annual Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International Doctoral Scholars Program scholarship competition.
Legutko will receive a half-tuition scholarship toward completing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree at Nova Southern University's Fischler School of Education and Human Services. The doctoral courses of study focus on educational leadership and organizational leadership, with a minor in school business leadership.
ASBO International and Nova Southeastern University created this doctoral program for ASBO members to advance their skills and enhance their roles as leaders in both education and in school business management.
