Spotlight On Education

DCPS Principal Named Council for Exceptional Children Administrator of the Year

Pinedale Principal Alan Due with District 1 School Board Member Martha BarrettAlan Due, formerly the principal at John Stockton Elementary School and now the principal at Pinedale Elementary, has been named Administrator of the Year by the Jacksonville chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children.

The Council for Exceptional Children is dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities, students with disabilities and/or the gifted.

Each year, the Jacksonville chapter acknowledges the efforts of administrators who devote significant attention to the education of exceptional students.

The council recognized Mr. Due for being an avid learner who often attends and participates in many of the district trainings on inclusion with his teachers.

Duval County Public Schools applauds Mr. Due for his dedication to the education and development of our district’s exceptional students.
