Greenfield Elementary hosted a Family Groovy Night on October 10th, providing students and their families with the opportunity to dress up in their "grooviest" '70s gear while they enjoyed dancing, face painting and pizza.
The event has become an annual occurrence at the school. Not only is it a time for students and parents to relax and get to know their teachers in a fun environment, but it has also been an opportunity for students to give back to their community.
Each person in attendance was asked to bring in cans of food, as well as pay a 50 cents admissions fee. All the proceeds will be donated to struggling families in the community.
