Spotlight On Education

Holiday Hill Teacher Welcome and Reception

Teachers at Holiday Hill Elementary School were welcomed back to school on August 11 with a 50s style reception to celebrate the school's 50th Anniversary.

All teachers, faculty and staff were invited to come to the first day of pre-planning dressed in attire from the 50’s and spend the morning participating in hula hoop contests, bubble blowing contests and a special visit by Elvis.

The Fifties theme was the natural catalyst to celebrate the school's past, present and future! The school was also celebrating the fact that they earned another A this year, raising its grade by over 11 points! Inviting staff to enjoy the music, games and activities of the 50s provided an ideal opportunity for team building and to enjoy the start of a new school year!

Community First Credit Union and the PTA sponsored the event.
