Palm Avenue Exceptional Student Center held its Fourth Annual Holiday Magic Parade on December 5. Students took part in the parade by dressing up as fictional characters, including holiday drummers, ninja turtles, bells and even Christmas in Manhattan.
The Andrew Jackson High School Marching Tiger Band and AJROTC also took part in the festivities by entertaining the crowd with their music and dance.
Following the parade, students and parents participated in decorating cookies, and ornaments, dancing, visiting with Santa and shopping for presents in their make-shift store, filled with jewelry, games, clothing and more.
The mission of Palm Avenue Exceptional Student Center is to provide special needs students with educational, enrichment, and real life opportunities that allow them to achieve their maximum potential as they transition into the community.
