Mrs. Pack and Mrs. Biegun's third-grade class at Louis S. Sheffield Elementary was recently announced as the winners of the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens' Spooktacular Poster Contest.
Students throughout the district in grades K-5 were invited to submit one poster on behalf of their school that best represented the theme and visual impact of the contest: "Spooktacular - A Family Affair at the Zoo." Entries were evaluated by the zoo's marketing department.
The winning class received tickets to Spooktacular, recognition in Wild Magazine, and a pizza party featuring an animal encounter and Jazoo, the zoo’s lion mascot.
