Students at San Jose Elementary returned to school the evening of December 11 in their pajamas for a special reading of The Polar Express.
Students were served hot chocolate and received a special silver bell for their participation. There were also prizes awarded for the writing and coloring contests that took place during the evening.
The special event was a fun and unique way for students to experience the joys of reading while celebrating the joys of the holiday season.
