Two students from Stanton College Preparatory School, Chrisantha Perera and Christopher Wood, have been selected as quarterfinalists in the 2008 U.S. Physics Contest leading to the selection of the U.S. Physics Team.
These students were among the top 400 quarterfinalists who scored exceptionally well on a series of exams administered to thousands across the United States by the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) and the American Institute of Physics (AIP).
Dr. Rajasekjar Narisetty, Stanton College Preparatory School physics teacher, has received special recognition from AAPT and AIP for promoting excellence in physics education.
Each finalist has also received an award packet from the sponsoring societies and donors.
