Students at Normandy Village Elementary had the opportunity to receive career advice from the F-15 Strike Eagle Air Team on April 16 when they made a special visit to their school.
The crew, who were in town for the Cecil Field Air Show, spoke to the students about a career as a pilot.
They showed the students flight videos, "suited up" in their gear and displayed their flight equipment, and answered questions from the students about piloting and the Air Force.
"The students were fascinated to learn the ins and outs of a pilot's job," said Assistant Principal Tiffany Towns. "They learned about the amount of schooling it takes to become a pilot, the amount of concentration and training required, and some of the intricacies of the job. The students left the presentation with a new career to consider in the future."
