Nearly 80 eighth-grade students from James Weldon Johnson College Preparatory Middle School received a perfect score on the FCAT Writing, and celebrated with a luncheon at a historic restaurant and a limousine ride.
Thanks to contributions from the school’s business partners, four stretch limousines picked up the students and brought them to the Casa Marina restaurant in Jacksonville Beach.
After lunch, the students, along with their teachers, Ms. Mollie Browning, Ms. Jillian Davies, Mrs. Melissa VonDolteren, Ms. Maika Williams, and their principal, Mrs. Sharwonda Peek, stopped by the Duval County Public Schools district office for a group picture.
Congratulations James Weldon Johnson students!
