Students at
Crown Point Elementary recently participated in the school's first annual Mad Science Day.
"Often you hear about family reading nights, but it is not too often that everyone focuses on science," said Jennine Sobol, first-grade teacher.
During this day, the entire school put its focus on science. Students dressed like scientists and had the opportunity to participate in several experiments.
Every teacher performed at least one science experiment. Several grade levels opted to do rotations where students worked their way through four classrooms, participating in four distinct experiments.
