First Coast High AVID Students Become Future Collegiate Leaders

Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) recently invited juniors and seniors enrolled in First Coast High School's AVID Program to participate in a Collegiate Leadership Workshop.

The program included team building exercises, as well as information about strengthening leadership skills.

First Coast High School was the first class of Future Collegiate Leaders, and at the completion of the workshop, representatives from FSCJ presented the school with a framed picture of all the students who participated in the program.

Students in First Coast's AVID Program who are currently seniors will also be the school's first graduating class in the program. This year, the seniors led the induction of the freshman class into the program.
