Students are wild about learning at John Stockton Elementary and wild things are happening around the school campus!
Two staunch Gator fans, Principal Lacy Healy and Assistant Principal Jennifer Collins, recently arrived at school with their hair painted garnet and gold. They had challenged the students to meet their reading goals for the current grading period, and if 80 percent of them did, they would sacrifice their allegiance to their beloved Gators make their hair glow with Seminole colors.
The Stockton students came through, and garnet and gold hair coloring was generously applied by Seminole fan and Media Specialist Susan Phillips.
For the next grading period, if 85 percent of the students meet their reading goals, the Stockton leaders will do something even wilder. Stay tuned!
