Timucuan Elementary has recently hosted fun events to get their students and parents more involved at school and in the learning process.
Everyone returned to Timucuan Elementary one evening for their annual community dinner, which was an opportunity for families to join together to support the school and students.
During the dinner, parents and staff were treated to a special performance by the Timucuan Chorus.
Families also had the opportunity to attend the Timucuan Elementary "Book Swap." They could swap their gently used books for new reads. Teachers and staff were also available to assist parents with learning how to select books that are right for their child’s age and learning curriculum.
