A. Philip Randolph Academies of Technology won first-place honors at the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Regional Leadership Conference. HOSA promotes career training among secondary and post-secondary institutions.
Randolph Academies' winners are Marie Shellman, first place, Medical Terminology; Jessica Herndon, fifth place, Medical Spelling; Tamesha Coates, third place, Pathophysiology; Cameron Chambers, third place, Pharmacology; Ondrianna Sadler, first place, Pharmacology; Jason Fountain, fifth place, Basic Concepts of Health Care; Latasha Walker, second place, Chapter Newsletter; and Houston Needham and Evangeline Perona, fifth place, Career Health Display.
Students placing first, second or third qualify to compete at the Florida HOSA State Leadership Conference this April.
