John N.C. Stockton Elementary recently hosted a reading dinner theater that was not only a smashing success, but also a fun and interactive way to get their students and families more excited about reading.
During the production, students munched on a Chick-fil-A dinner as the "CoReadian Comedian" bounced on and off the stage to waves of hysterical laughter. He pulled many lucky dinner guests to the stage to help him with his antics.
The curtain came down, but the fun had only just begun. The students went to their classrooms to hear books being read by famous authors, Jaguars cheerleaders, and other school and neighborhood celebrities.
The evening was topped off by a book swap. Everybody left with a smile and a book. Reading is sure fun at Stockton Elementary!
