Baldwin High AP class, juniors and seniors are having all the fun!
Ms. O'Neill's AP Biology class is required to do a set amount of labs, and this year one of those was a natural selection mating lab. Every student in the class had the opportunity to choose a type of animal to be and randomly “mated” in the class.

"This lab was funny and I learned a lot," said junior Miranda Denmark.
The purpose of the lab was to show the flow of dominant and recessive alleles. Students randomly mated to show the changing genotype (actual genes of an organism).
"I love this lab and we have more fun every year," said Ms. O'Neill.
When students finished the lab, they kept their masks showing their genetic identities.
