Award winning author and illustrator team Pamela Duncan Edwards and Henry Cole recently stopped by several Duval County public schools to present their latest releases and wow the students!
Together, Pamela Duncan Edwards and Henry Cole have created more than 70 children's books which have received high praise and honors.
"Students, parents and teachers were enthralled at the way these two professionals collaborated to produce true masterpieces of literature," said
Abess Park Elementary faculty member Debbie Ellison. "Their program was informative, humorous and exciting to all who attended."
Melanie Holtsman, the instructional technology coach at
Chets Creek Elementary, commented that the duo was awesome and their students adored them.
"They were mesmerized by their personalities, stories and their craft. We learned all about word play and using fun word activities with our students."
In addition to Chets Creek and Abess Park, Pamela Duncan Edwards and Henry Cole visited
Neptune Beach,
Lone Star,
Hyde Grove,
Mayport and
Normandy Village elementary schools.
