Students and staff from
Westview K-8, the district's first green school, recently had a wonderful celebration for Earth Day.
Events included a production by the Drama Club about why it is important to save the Earth; a visit by guests from the Teacher Supply Depot showing students items that have been donated to the district that are reusable; student art work and posters displayed throughout the school; and demonstrations by Kindergartners showing students ways to use their five senses to keep our planet healthy.
Students also were treated to a special appearance by Clifford The Big Red Dog.
