The best of LaVilla School of the Arts (LASOTA) was recently on display when the school hosted its 2010 Showcase, featuring music, drama, dance, art and creative writing.
This year's Showcase was especially special for the school since 2010 is the school's 10th anniversary of being opened. In honor of its 10th anniversary, Mayor John Peyton recently presented LaVilla School of the Arts with an official proclamation recognizing May as LaVilla School of the Arts month.
