Spotlight On Education

NASA Invites Kirby-Smith Students to Shuttle Launch

The Kirby-Smith Middle School Challenger Learning Center S.T.a.R. Interns were invited by NASA to watch the STS132 launch on the press field near the countdown clock.

The students also did a live interview with NASA Digital Learning Network (DLN) and met Dr. Cabana, the director of Kennedy Space Center.

Members of the Kirby-Smith Middle School team are Adam Nicolas Storm, Rebecca Lynne Lowe, Christian Brandon LeBron, Sayed Walker Knikia, Nicole Andrea Davis, Damon Eric Edmond, Patrick David Cordek and Hannah Brook Pafford. Their teachers are Sheree' L. Kearns, facilities director, and Philip Lansing Walker.
