DA and Paxon Students Win JTA Jingle Jam Contest

Congratulations to Willie Williams of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and to the Paxon School for Advanced Studies Choir for being the grand-prize winners of the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) Jingle Jam Contest.

Entrants were asked to compose music and sing jingle lyrics provided by the JTA about taking transit to a baseball game.

The grand-prize winners will receive great prizes, including the opportunity to record an audio version of their jingle in a professional studio and have it aired during the Sun's home games on 930AM The Fox. In addition, the winning videos will play on the big screen at an upcoming Jacksonville Sun's baseball game. Winners also receive a summer youth pass good for the entire summer, and a Jacksonville Sun’s goodie pack.

Winning videos are viewable on JTA's You Tube channel, JTA904. For more information, visit JTA's Web site.
