Students at
Beauclerc Elementary recently had a very fun day at school when they had two special events: a Fun Run and reptile assembly.
The Fun Run was sponsored by the Beauclerc PTA, and organized by the PTA, Coach Dudjak, Coach Scott and music teacher Steve Gonzalez. The goal of the event was to raise additional funds to maintain and support PTA programs that directly benefit the students and teachers, and the event brought in nearly $9,500!
In advance of the run, students collected pledges from their “fans.” On fun run day, they walked or ran the course laid out by the coaches to the energizing sound of music and cheering parents.
To complete the day, students who met their second nine-week reading goal were eligible to attend an assembly featuring live reptiles.
It was a very fun-filled day at Beauclerc Elementary!
