Students in Jocelyn Farber’s class at
Enterprise Learning Academy recently learned about and celebrated the Chinese New Year.
They watched a video of New Year celebrations and made their own dragons that they danced up and down the hallways. They also learned to count in Chinese, and were given Chinese New Year goodie bags complete with yo-yos, fortune cookies, firecracker candy and the traditional Chinese red envelopes filled with coins.
Students finished their day (and the celebration) with Chinese dragon cupcakes.
