Kennedy Space Center Makes Jacket Donation to Kirby-Smith Challenger Learning Center

Students and staff at the Kirby-Smith Middle Challenger Learning Center want to send a special “thank you” to the Education Department at Kennedy Space Center.

The department donated four new cleanroom frocks to the center, which will make the educational experience more realistic when students launch their mission simulations.

Frocks are similar to heavy-duty lab jackets that keep skin and clothing protected. Each frock can cost several hundred dollars each, so all of the students are very appreciative of the donation and can’t wait to wear a frock during their next mission.
