Students Receive "Thank you" Cards from U.S. Soldier

The second-grade students in Ms. Orellana's class at Enterprise Learning Academy received “thank you” cards from a U.S. soldier serving in Afghanistan. Recently, the students sent Sarah a care package with hand-made Christmas and Valentine's Day cards, and a few other items. The students also included a few things that Sarah could share with the Afghani children such as stickers and candy.

The students were all very excited to receive the “thank you” cards from a real soldier serving our country. This experience was a great way to teach the students to appreciate what they have, and show them that helping others can be very rewarding.
