Congratulations to the winners of the middle school Scholar Bowl matches. The Scholar Bowl is an academic, jeopardy-like game that challenges students' memory and knowledge in the four core subjects of science, mathematics, English, and social studies.
The teams consist of seventh- and eighth-graders working together to solve problems in a relaxed, yet competitive, setting. This is the most fun and intellectual challenge a scholar in middle school will experience! Members of the Scholar Bowl teams must make a commitment to participate in weekly practices, matches and tournaments.
The Scholar Bowl is made up of six divisions with five schools competing in each. To see the results for the first five matches, click

The winning schools from each division then went on to compete against one another in the district championship play-offs. There were three rounds in the play-offs. The results for the first round are as follows: Julia Landon defeated Baldwin; Twin Lakes Academy defeated Mayport; and Oceanway defeated JEB Stuart. The second round results are: Twin Lakes Academy defeated Mandarin and Julia Landon defeated Oceanway. The final match was between Julia Landon and Twin Lakes Academy and Julia Landon won, making them the overall winners!
Congratulations to all of the students and schools who participated in this intense competition! You all did an outstanding job and you should be very proud!
