Beauclerc Elementary recently held its end of the year dual language production, “A Night at the Zoo – Una noche en el zool`ogico.” More than 200 families and district staff enjoyed a wonderful musical show spoken and sung in both the English and Spanish languages.
All 126 dual language students in kindergarten, first- and second-grade rehearsed for many weeks to prepare for the evening. Teachers, parents, staff and volunteers from CITI Bank, all contributed their time and effort working on the dance numbers, costumes and sets. They also provided support and extra hands the night of the show.
The students all did a phenomenal job and were very proud of themselves. The musical was followed by a delightful ice cream social to reward everyone for their hard work.
