Recently, two AP classes from
Frank H. Peterson traveled to the Federal Court House to argue the constitutionality of President Obama's health care plan. The students worked extremely hard to prepare for this project and spent a lot of time planning and researching their arguments.
The Honorable Harvey Schlesinger presided over the case. He stated how the students brought up every possible argument about the piece of legislation. The students did a very thorough job covering the entire basis for discussion on the major components of the health care plan. This was the first time that students have ever done a constitutionality argument in front of a federal judge.
Congratulations to these students for completing such an amazing accomplishment. This experience is something the students will never forget.
