Brookview Elementary received a check for $750 from the Women's Network of Jacksonville Golf and Country Club as proceeds from the Fashion Show they had in March.
The Women’s Network of Jacksonville Golf and Country Club chose Brookview Elementary as one of the three recipients of this event based on the recognition as an A school, student needs and school demographics. This group has also provided other goods and services to Brookview Elementary. In November they donated 25 Thanksgiving baskets to the school and a computer. Most recently, 15 of their members donated their time to be classroom proctors during the FCAT.
Brookview Elementary is so thankful for all of the contributions from the Women's Network and looks forward to working with them in the future.
Other good news for Brookview Elementary, the school has been awarded a grant from Full Service Schools called Timely Tigers. This is an incentive grant to decrease the number of students arriving late to class.
Congratulations Brookview on receiving this award to provide better assistance to the students!
