Students in Mrs. Saoud's second-grade class at
Enterprise Learning Academy
recently finished their Book of the Month, Chessie the Meandering Manatee, and in honor of the book, they sent their class mascot, Bailey, on a year-long adventure.
Bailey will be traveling to classrooms in North Carolina, New Jersey, California, Texas and Louisiana before coming home to Enterprise in May.
Their meandering manatee will face many new journeys, and the students will be tracking Bailey’s journeys in class with a travel buddy blog. When Bailey and her journal return home, all the Enterprise Learning Academy students will have the opportunity to read about her travels.
