Parent of Darnell-Cookman Student Becomes Jacksonville's Honorary Consul of France

During a recent evening celebration, a student from Darnell-Cookman Middle/High had the honor of seeing his father named the Honorary Consul of France for Jacksonville during the Soiree Artistique et Musicale, sponsored by the Nantes Committee and the Alliance Francaise.

Duval County Public Schools' Supervisor of World Languages, Dr. Joann Davis, and other representatives, including students from the University of North Florida, watched as Monsieur Le Consul General of France Gael de Maisonneuve awarded Monsieur Kristina-Francois Kloc with this special honor. Kloc is the father of Felix Kloc, a student at Darnell-Cookman.

Congratulations to Felix for his family member receiving such a high honor.
