Enterprise Learning Academy recently became a live and shaking dictionary as more than 900 students and teachers dressed as a word of their choice and paraded through the halls for the Vocabulary Parade.
There were antonyms, compound words, nouns, verbs, mammals, insects, weather, colors and more.
Inspired by the book Miss Alaineus, A Vocabulary Disaster by Debra Frazier, also the school's book of the month, the Vocabulary Parade was organized by Ms. Lavender.
The parade will help reinforce the words students have been learning in class and in their books. Principal Sheridan Brown encouraged parents to ask their child to use one of their new vocabulary words in a sentence to continue their vocabulary lessons at home.
